ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Halloween is just a few days away, and if you've got some little ghouls and goblins who will be out trick or treating, officials urge parents to keep safety in mind.
A few of those safety tips: Stay away from homes that aren't well lit, never go inside alone and make sure people can see your trick or treaters.
If costumes don't come with reflectors, one local woman has a clever idea to make sure little ones stay safe while trick-or-treating. "Fabric that had glow in the dark spiders on it, and glued them onto her costume, so she can glow in the dark and you can see her better."
If your costume doesn't go well with glow in the dark spiders, you can always use glow sticks and flash lights.
