Police: Man headbutts officer after arrest

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg police say a man who was taken into custody for trespassing at a local bar head-butted and kicked an officer.
Police say that at about 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, police responded to the Zoo Tavern on Diamond Lake Boulevard for a report of a man refusing to leave the property after he had been trespassed for life for a prior incident.
When police arrived, they detained Mitchell Lee Randall, 26, of Roseburg.
Police put him in the back of the patrol car, and that's when they say he became violent, kicking the window bars hard enough to damage them.
Officers say Randall then tried to move his handcuffed hands to the front of his body. When an officer tried to stop him, they say Randall kicked and head-butted him.
Police say they were able to get him to the Douglas County Jail, where he was lodged on multiple charges, including second degree trespass, second degree disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration, among others.
His bail was set at $20,000.
