Police make meth bust in Myrtle Point

MYRTLE POINT, Ore. -- Police in Coquille say they arrested two people after an investigation and search warrant led to a meth bust.

On Saturday, an Officer from the Coquille Police Department received information about the sale of drugs out of a residence in Myrtle Point.

An investigation led to the officer obtaining a search warrant for a residence located at 2347 Maple Street in Myrtle Point.

At about 10:00 pm, officers from the Coquille Police Department, Myrtle Point Police Department, Oregon State Police and the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team served the search warrant at the home.

Police say that during the search, officers recovered methamphetamine, drug-packaging materials, scales, drug paraphernalia and money associated with the sales of controlled substances.

Police arrested Scott Tracy Fehrn, 50, and Janette Irene Glenn, 55, both of Myrtle Point, charging them with possession and distribution of a controlled substance. 

Fehrn and Glenn were transported to Coos County Jail.
