ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Pacific Power said an outage Wednesday morning affected over 7,000 customers. Power has since been restored to both Pacific Power and Douglas Electric customers.
Along Harvard Avenue, traffic signals went dark just before 10:30 am, but was quickly restored.
According to their Web site power was restored, but Douglas Electric customers were still without power in many areas.
Douglas Electric says about 4,500 people went without power until shortly before noon.
Authorities are asking people to remember that unless the outage is causing a medical emergency, do not call 911.
