SUTHERLIN, Ore. -- A Roseburg police dog was called in to stop a couple from allegedly stealing from a Sutherlin church, and it ended with what police called a 'biting capture.'
Sutherlin police and Douglas County Sheriff's deputies were called in to stop a burglary at the Blessed Hope Mission Church on Hutchings Street on Tuesday.
The suspects were still inside when authorities got there, so Roseburg K-9 Helix was sent in.
Helix made a 'biting capture' on 23-year-old Samantha Oots.
Anthony Terra, 30, surrendered a short time later.
This is the same couple that was allegedly caught stealing from a garage in Sutherlin several weeks ago.
Both were charged with second degree burglary.
WOW, Now us TAX PAYERS can provide them with Sat. T.V. ,heat,FOOD and a bed...While some County Senior sits HUNGRY,AND COLD...'cause the county has 'NO FUNDS' to help them ....I'm sick of the Judges turning these types of SCUM-BAGS loose.
