Reminder: Construction will close Harvard exit

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Just a reminder, Harvard Avenue is getting a little makeover.

ODOT crews will be repaving the road from Bellows Street to Madrone Avenue.

The construction began on Thursday, and will continue for three weeks.

Crews will be on scene from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The work will cause some intermittent lane closures and some delays on Harvard.

Monday and Tuesday nights, crews are working on grinding and paving the Exit 124 on and off ramps, and that could cause them to be closed for several hours.

Drivers are advised to use another route.

Also starting Monday, the in-road sensors are gone and all traffic signals will be set to timers for the rest of the project.

As always, officials are asking drivers to slow down and drive with caution through the construction zone.
