Robinson plugs new book in campaign stops

CANYONVILLE, Ore. -- Oregon 4th Congressional District candidate Art Robinson was in Douglas County on Thursday, promoting his new book.

Titled 'Common Sense in 2012,' the book was just recently released.

Robinson says it's about prosperity and charity in America.

KPIC News caught up with Robinson in Canyonville for one of the three stops he made.

Robinson said he believes that if the voters hear his message, he will win the vote. "The taxes are all regressive," he said. "It really works for the poor, because as the tax burden grows, not only does it weaken the economy and therefore, provide fewer opportunities for the poor people, but it also raises prices."

Robinson answered audience questions about federal income taxes, 'Obamacare' and the proposed arms trade treaty that could regulate international trade of weapons.

Robinson said this would be a very dangerous thing for America.
