ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg festival that's been running for more than four decades is coming back this weekend.

The Umpqua Valley Arts Association is hosting the 44th annual Arts Festival Friday through Sunday.

Set-up has already begun at the UVAA, and organizers say it's a massive undertaking. "We have a huge group of volunteers that put the festival on with us every year," said Kathy Henderson, the UVAA Executive Director. "I believe we counted 220 volunteers, 460 hours."

Henderson says that they'll have over 130 art booths, non profits, live music and more.

Last year, Henderson says that 16,000 people came to the fair, and she's hoping that people will brave the predicted rain and come out again.

And, for the first time ever this year, the festival will not open at noon on Friday. This year, the fair will kick off at 4:00 p.m. Friday.

Admission is $3, and kids six and under get in for free.
