A van lays on it's top after a two vehicle crash Monday morning in south Roseburg.

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg woman was cited for a Monday morning crash that left her van on it's top, but officials say she escaped with just some scratches.

Police say that at around 9:30 a.m., the woman, who has not been identified, was heading southbound on Highway 99 South, and was following a small Nissan.

Officials say the driver of the Nissan slowed to turn left, and for an unknown reason, the woman didn't notice the car getting ready to turn.

Police say the van struck the car, causing it to crash into the guardrail, and due to the momentum it rolled onto it's top.

The driver of the Nissan was not injured.

The accident left the roadway with only one lane open while crews cleaned up the scene.
