Want a new TV for the big game? Now might be good time
By Glen Beeby KPIC NewsROSEBURG, Ore. -- If you didn't buy a new TV over the holidays you may still be in luck if your looking for a good deal. MultimediaStores often have big sales for Black Friday and after Christmas, but it turns out the best times to buy is late January and early February. The good deals happen around the time of the Super Bowl, but the great prices are due to stores trying to make room for the next year's models, which release in March. Several manufacturers are offering special financing and rebates to try and sell some of their older models. People should do their research and make sure they are buying the right TV for their entertainment needs. If you're looking for the biggest TV for the game, a local TV salesperson says you should go with a DLP model for anything over 70 inches, and LCD for anything lower than that. If you are looking for the cheapest price, then Plasma is your best bet. |
