DIAMOND LAKE, Ore. -- If you want to throw your line in the water at Diamond Lake, you better play hookey from work tomorrow.
Diamond Lake will be closed to fishermen starting on Thursday, November 1.
But, never fear, there are new regulations in place that will open the lake to year-round fishing starting on January 1, 2013.
The daily limit remains eight fish per day with an eight-inch minimum and only one fish over 20 inches.
Officials with Diamond Lake say that the resort will remain open, and there are plenty of things to do around the lake while fishing is closed.
