Coast Guard rescue
A stranded boater is hoisted from Pyramid Rock, northwest of Gold Beach, Ore., by the crew of a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station North Bend Aug. 28, 2013. The boaters went aground on the rock, and while waiting to be rescued, their boat floated free and was safely recovered and returned to the rescued boaters by the crew of a Coast Guard 25-foot Response Boat - Small from Coast Guard Search and Rescue Detachment Rogue River.
