DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- Authorities are still looking for anyone who might have information about how a large fire was started near Yoncalla on Friday.

At around 4:00 pm, Douglas Forest Protective Association crews responded to a fire in the Andrews Creek area, about six miles west of Yoncalla.

The blaze burned about 60 acres.

On Saturday night, the Andrews Creek Fire was completely trailed, and the cause is still under investigation.

Officials are urging people to be extremely cautious with burn piles.

If you've burned anything in the past month, officials are asking you to go back and check it to make sure it is completely extinguished.

If you have any information about a possible cause of the Andrews Creek Fire, you're asked to call the DFPA.
