EUGENE, Ore. - Postmarks don't count in Oregon's vote by mail system.

Voters need to deliver their ballots to one of the many official ballot drop sites.

To be counted, all voted ballots must be received at the elections office or in an official drop site by 8 p.m. Election Day, Nov. 6, 2012.

"There are several important reminders for voters to follow as they get their ballots ready to return," said Lane County Clerk Cheryl Betschart. "Please call our office if you have any questions prior to casting your vote. We want to make sure every registered voter can have his or her vote counted."
