2012 Baseball All-State Teams

Roseburg's Josh Graham has received a pair of all-state baseball honors.

The righthander was named the Class 6A pitcher of the year and a first team selection at catcher. Graham was joined on the first team by teammates Connor Newell (2B) and Jared Priestley (P).

RHS first baseman Mike Morin was named to the second team, while junior Kody Matthews (SS) and freshman David Irvine (OF) were tabbed honorable mention.

The Class 3A first team included Glide's Brenden Fricke (1B) and Cory Finlay (IF).

Four other Wildcats received all-state recognition led by second team selection Zach Rose (OF). Third team honors went to Kyle Rowe (C) and Tyler Gordon (OF); and Jake Livingston (IF) was honorable mention.

North Douglas standout Noah Miller was honored as the Class 2A/1A co-player of the year and head coach Jeff Davis was named co-coach of the year.

Two other Warriors making the first team were Austin Potter (P) and Travis Doudna (OF).

Yoncalla's Austin Blanchfill (OF) was joined on the second team by Umpqua Valley Christian's Jake Forrester (P) and Perry Tilton (C).

Local players on the third team were Yoncalla's Cameron Scott (P) and Tyler Ellis (IF), along with Days Creek's Devin Muir (U).

Honorable Mention went to Riddle's Erik Rogers (DH); Yoncalla's Dylan Dover (C); and Days Creek's Jordan Muir (OF).
