CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State's season opener with Nicholls State is still on schedule for Saturday despite Hurricane Isaac.
As the storm closes in on Louisiana, the Colonels have already canceled practice until Thursday. However, the Beavers are still preparing the same.
"I sure hope they are all OK and that they can make the trip," said a concerned Mike Riley.
Riley knows all about hurricanes from his time as an assistant coach with the New Orleans Saints in 2002.
"It was scary and disruptive to everything," said Riley. "I mean everything. So I know what they're going through. There's a lot of unknowns."
