EUGENE, Ore.-- Athletes of all ages were at Hayward Field on Saturday.
91-years old or 11-years old, it didn't matter.
The 30th Hayward Classic featured guys like Jack Casey who ran track at Boston College in the 60s'.
"It's very enjoyable," said Casey. "It's a beautiful day, and in my age group it's such a supporting group. Everyone is trying to help everyone else. That really makes it fun."
Casey has been running at masters track meets ever since he moved to Oregon in 1983.
Ruben Joseph wasn't even alive in 1983, but both of them shared the field on Saturday.
11-year old Joesph has been throwing the javelin since he was four.
Saturday was competing in the 32nd Track City Classic, which showcased some of the younger kids.
"It's pretty cool to run on the same runway as the throwers that will be competing in the Olympics for the US," said Joseph.
