Former Oregon running back LaMichael was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers with the 29th pick in the 2nd round (61st overall) of the NFL Draft on Friday night.

James re-wrote the record books during his time at Oregon. He's first in school history with 5,869 in all-purpose yards, 5,082 rushing yards and 53 career rushing touchdowns.

James will join forces with 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, who faced James in college when coaching at Stanford.
