CANYONVILLE, Ore. -- Hundreds came out to the 2013 Oregon Signing Day dinner for Douglas County on Wednesday night, that took place at the Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville.
The event was hosted by the Duck's play-by-play announcer Jerry Allen and featured numerous guests such as former NFL quarterback and Hall of Famer Dan Fouts to talk about the 2013 Oregon team.
"I think Mark Helfrich is going to do a great job and so many of the coaches have stuck around ... that' s really important with the continuity of a football program," said Fouts, of the recent regime-change within the program.
Mike Jorgensen, a UO football analyst also spoke about the incoming freshman.
"When you play the type of football at the level these guys are playing ... people are really excited and on the edge of their seats," said Jorgensen. "To find out whats happening next, what the next group of student athletes look like."
Some of the Oregon football coaching staff, including Steve Greatwood and Gary Campbell provided a glimpse of the incoming class of oregon football players.
Tickets to the Oregon Signing Day dinner were $50.
