Roseburg scored eight unanswered runs in an 11-3 win over McKay during a first round playoff game Monday afternoon at Legion Field.
Mike Morin's RBI single plated Darin Nelson with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth inning and Kody Matthews smacked a bases clearing triple to give the Indians a 7-3 lead. Josh Graham and Jared Priestley added solo home runs for Roseburg.
Graham also struck out 10 batters over six innings to earn the victory.
Next up, the Indians (22-2) will host Southridge on Wednesday.
The Roseburg softball team also won its opening round game with a 5-1 victory against visiting Canby.
Megan Larkin hit a two-run homer for the Indians.
