Douglas County basketball players honored

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- Seven local 6A/4A/3A athletes have received top honors for their efforts on the court during the 2010-11 boys basketball season.

Roseburg's Tim Weber was selected as the Southern Oregon Conference's co-player of the year after helping guide the Indians to a share of the conference title. The 6'5" senior was joined on the first-team by teammates Micah Audiss and Bradley Seehawer. Meanwhile, Roseburg's Craig Stinnett was named co-coach of the year.

Seniors Chris Mock of Sutherlin and David Huling of South Umpqua were first-team selections in the Far West League; while Glide's Brady Smith and Drew Vickery were named first-team in the Sunset Conference.
