The losing streak has reached six games for Roseburg's Dr. Stewart's after dropping their third straight Area 4 doubleheader Tuesday night at Harry and David Field in Medford. The Docs never led in either game and were swept 5-0 and 8-4 by the first-place Mustangs (7-1, 23-4).

Medford sent eight batters to the plate and scored four times in the first inning on its way to the shutout victory in game one. Righthander Neil Emerson pitched a complete game allowing just five hits.

In the nightcap, the Mustangs jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one inning and cruised to the 8-4 win. Roseburg (0-6, 8-10) trailed 8-1 entering the seventh inning, but the Docs made it a little closer plating three runs in their final at-bat.
