Roseburg Soccer Association holds fundraiser
By Jason Hink, Douglas County Sports OnlineThere's still time to buy a ticket for the Roseburg Soccer Association's "First Annual Benefit Raffle." The first prize is a mini vacation getaway to the Major League Soccer Cup Final November 22 at Qwest Field in Seattle. The package is valued at $1500 and includes game tickets, airfare and accommodations for two. The second prize winner will receive an HP laptop valued at $750. A 'Family Entertainment' basket worth $750 will be awarded to the third-place winner. The basket includes gift certificates to the Wildlife Safari, Ten Down Bowling Center, Cinema 8 Theater and Anthony’s Italian Café, an autographed soccer ball from the Oregon Ducks Women’s Soccer team and four (4) tickets to the Oregon Ducks vs Arizona State Football game on November 14. The drawing will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 10:00AM am at Fir Grove Fields in Roseburg. Winners need not be present to win.
