Fullback Lucas Corder ran for three touchdowns as Roseburg rolled to an easy 48-7 win over third-ranked South Medford in a Southwest Conference game Friday night at Finlay Field.

The Indians (3-1, 6-2) jumped out to a 24-0 halftime lead and cruised to the 41-point victory. The win also put Roseburg in sole possession of second place, while the Panthers (3-1, 6-2) dropped into third.

The Indians, who finish the regular season next Friday at North Medford, also got a pair of touchdown passes from quarterback Thaddeus Davis.

Third-ranked Douglas clinched the Far West League title with a 21-13 win at Sutherlin. The Trojans are now a perfect 9-0 on the season.

South Umpqua (1-3, 4-5) dropped a 43-22 contest to North Bend. The Lancers held a 7-6 lead early in the second quarter, but the Bulldogs ran off 30 unanswered points to put the game out of reach.

Tailback Jake Hill led the Lancers ground game rushing for 110 yards and two scores.

Glide (4-2, 6-2) is headed to the postseason after its 29-26 victory over Myrtle Point. The win helped the Wildcats clinch the Sunset Conference's number three spot in the upcoming 3A state playoffs.

There was a full slate of action in the Mountain View Conference as North Douglas (5-1, 8-1) rolled over Riddle 41-0; Glendale downed Yoncalla 36-12; Oakland lost to Monroe 37-10; and Oakridge handed Central Linn its first conference loss, 28-21.

Elkton kept its slim playoff hopes alive Friday afternoon beating Days Creek 12-6; and Camas Valley got by Powers 48-32.
