Cal Ripkin Baseball season opens Saturday
Opening ceremonies for this year's Cal Ripken youth baseball leagues are this Saturday.
This year there are 53 baseball and 13 softball teams.
The opening ceremonies are Saturday, April 7th at Gaddis Park in Roseburg.
Special guest Josh Bidwell, a Douglas High and University of Oregon alumni will throw out the first pitch.
Bidwell is currently the punter for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's of the National Football League.
The ceremonies begin at noon with Bidwell thowing that first pitch and the games kick off at 1:30.
