New site for North Douglas-Oakland volleyball contest
By Jason Hink, Douglas County Sports OnlineThe location has changed for Tuesday's North Douglas-Oakland seeding match. The volleyball contest is now scheduled for 6:30PM at the Umpqua Community College gymnasium. Both teams finished 13-1 on the season and shared the Mountain View Conference regular season title. The winner will head to the 2A state playoffs as the number one representative and the loser will earn the conference's number two seed. Tuesday's match was originally set to be played at Sutherlin High School.
