ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Indians finished 3-12 in the Southwest Conference a year ago, but head coach Craig Stinnett says the program is slowly turning in the right direction.

The team will try to run a more structured brand of basketball this season.

The Indians kicked off with a 74-48 win over Crater, giving Roseburg a good start to the young season.
