SUTHERLIN, Ore. -  The Sutherlin girls are back again, to the 4-A state basketball tournament after a heart-stopping 46-44 victory over Molalla Friday night in Sutherlin.

The Lady Bulldogs advance to round one of the tournament on Wednesday against Marist of Eugene.  The two teams will meet at 3:15 p.m. at Gill Coliseum  Wednesday.

The Bulldogs are not strangers to the tournament after winning the state title two years ago, and finishing third  last year.  They went into the tournament unbeaten and ranked number one, but lost in the second round to eventual state champion  La Pine, and then defeated Yamhill-Carlton in the third place game.
