KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - It was quite a turnaround from a week ago, when Klamath Falls hitters blistered Dr. Stewarts of Roseburg pitchers for 37 runs in a league doubleheader. But Wednesday night, Brandon Jackson turned it around. The Docs' righthander gave up 5 runs in 8 1/3 innings, before Josh Graham came on in the top of the 9th to get the final outs and preserve the win.

The game was decided in the bottom of the 7th when Vince Ampi ripped a 2-run double to give the Docs the lead for good at 6-4.  They added one more in the inning, and the game wen to the 9th with Jackson working on a 3 run lead.

He got into trouble and had given up a run, with the tying runs on base, when Graham came in with one out, and got a strikeout and a fly ball to end the game

Dr. Stewarts will play Salem Post #9 Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Kiger Stadium in the winner's bracket. Salem Post #9 beat Richey's Markets of Corvallis 11-10.

The other winners were Medford over Madison of Portland, and Salem Withnell Dodgers beat the Eugene Bi-Mart Challengers.
