EUGENE, OR - The Siulsaw boys track and field team won the 4A boys championship on Saturday at Hayward Field with 60 points just four points better than runner-up Cascade.
The Vikings picked up 18 points in the 1500 meter run with Mack Marbas winning in 4:03.24 and Matthew Campbell finishing second.
In 6A, Sheldon placed second to Jesuit in the boys team race. The Crusaders finished with 72 points.
The Irish won the 4x100m relay in 41.58. Sheldon was anchored by Mitch Horning who also won the 100m dash in 10.80.
Lakeridge won the 6A girls team title with 48.5 points. South Eugene placed fifth just a half point ahead of cross-town rival Sheldon.
Summit continued its dominance on the track by sweeping the 5A girls and boys team championships. The Marist boys were second with Springfield third.
The Marshfield girls finished second and Corvallis was third.
Gladstone won the 4A girls team crown with 65 points. Cottage Grove placed third in a tie with Molalla.
