Mildred;s Trail Dash
The Roseburg Road Runners and The Friends of Mildred Kanipe Memorial Park are offering their third annual 9K Trail Run and a 5k Fun walk/run to be held at the park July 7th. The Run and Walk starts and finishes at the Day Use Area.
The Trail Dash route will take you through Oak savannahs, a thick forest of beautiful Douglas Fir, mostly on singletrack trails. Despite the date of July 7th, runners will stay cool as about 70% of the course will be in the shade of trees. Early online registration is $20 which includes your race and a commemorative t-shirt. Early and Online registration closes June 23rd. Register on raceday for $15 (t-shirt not included). All fees include a complimentary Friends membership. Registration on race day is from 7:00AM to 8:15AM. The Race starts at 8:30 AM.
