This year's celebration will be held from 11 am - 5 pm in the Sutherlin Community Building at 105 S. Willamette. Many local non-profits are helping the Sutherlin Lions create a fun-filled day for children. The Branches of Love tree decorating contest depicts “Kids Christmas Classics”. Vote for your favorite tree like Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Frosty the Snowman, etc. If you bring food donations for the Sutherlin Oakland Food Pantry you get an extra vote. There’s something for everyone to enjoy including Pictures with Santa, Brightly Decorated Christmas trees, Entertainment, Carnival Games with prizes, Face Painting, Crafts, Grandma Christmas' Storybook Corner, Gingerbread House Display, and Kid's Coloring Contest Display. Free Hotdogs, popcorn and drinks will be served by American Legion Post 121 until gone. The fun day concludes at 7 pm with Sutherlin's Timber Town Toyland Light Parade sponsored by the Blackberry Festival.
