Return to Events ListThroughout the spring, the Douglas County Museum will be hosting an educational program featuring live animals. In partnership with Umpqua Wildlife Rescue, the Museum is presenting Birds of a Feather. This program will be on the second Saturday of each month from March-June. (March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12). At each program, visitors will get to meet a different species of raptor that inhabits our county. We will also accompany each bird program with associated crafts and activities. These programs will be free for kids ages 17 and under, from 1pm-3pm. The featured birds for March 13 will be the Western Screech Owl. |
