As I was driving home from work I spotted an animal with a herd of cattle that looked out of place. I slowed down and realized that the taller animal was an elk! It has been in the area since spring and seems content to graze with cattle.

If it sticks around during hunting season, then it thinks it's safe from hunters. It thinks, maybe no one would shoot into a herd of cattle. heh heh. Smart Elk.
