My little boy all grown up...

Here are 3 pictures of my little boy Osten on his 1st day of first grade! Also in the pictures is his step-dad Kevin and me (mommy)! He was so excited and told me, "Mommy you can leave now, I will be fine!" He has also told me to not walk him to the bus stop and told me he is a BIG BOY now so I don't need to eat lunch with him anymore:( I made a deal that I can eat lunch 1 time a month with him...He said it is fine as long as I don't kiss him at school and call him bubu! I love his excitment and independence, but it makes me sad in a way since he is my only child and my miracle baby at that. We almost lost both our lives when he was born early at 7 months due to my active disease of "Systemic Lupus". I am truly blessed with this miracle though...Good Luck Osten in 1st grade and many more years of school to come...I love you bubu:)
