During the Sutherlin Centennial, these flags were placed by friends and members of the Patriot Guard. Over 1800 flags were placed so that members of the community could see, pay tribute too and or heal from the loss of our fallen service men and women. Since the flags remained standing day and night, they were lit with flood lights at night and volunteers watched over them to ensure that none fell over. My daughter and I took part Thursday night in watching over the flags. These are just a few of pictures that we took that night.
