Around 11pm Wed. night, August 24th, 2011 I took these pictures from the front porch of our house in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. My husband noticed flashing of light coming from outside and we discovered what appeared to be a storm in the distance over the mountains. It was really a show of lights as the lightening struck at least once every minute. Thunder followed and later on a brisk hard rain came and went. It was wonderful to see!
