My husband and I met 33 years ago while working at Crater Lake National Park, and married in 1980. This last weekend we tried to once again hike to Boundary Springs, the headwaters of the Rogue. The sign was poorly marked and difficult to find the trailhead. We hauled our middle-aged selves up and down the trail in the 80+ heat, but what views! There were still a few scattered wildflowers, and green, lush grass and ferns lined the river. The water itself was so clear, and the rushing sound of the river was restful. WE came to a beautiful little fall and just rested there in awe of the forest and creation itself. After we married, we lived in California, but have finally returned back to Oregon, and we are loving the mountains, and are up there almost every weekend we have off together. Thanks for letting me share!
