After grocery shopping, I rewarded myself with a trip to the duck pond for a photo shoot. And there, in the late afternoon sun, was a pintail duck taking a joyous bath on a winter day. All the birds had come out to preen, play and celebrate the sun on this rare sunny winter's day.
