Eagles are being seen more frequently around Douglas County. A pair of Bald Eagles can often be seen from the Colliding Rivers in Glide. It is not uncommon to see them soaring above the North Umpqua River in Glide inhabiting and sharing the sky way with a flock of vultures and a pair of ospreys. It's an amazing sight to see them all soaring together although it is clear that the eagle is the most dominate of the plethora of birds.
