The first snow of the season always brings excitement but none so much as the first Christmas Snow. Glide awakened to a blanket of beautiful white snow this morning. While many would like to see a thicker coating of the white powder, it was enough to give a little extra Christmas excitement around Glide. One of the most beautiful sights to see in the snow is the historical Glide Baptist Church located at 357 Glide Loop Road. The church is over 100 years old and is more beautiful than any new building. Until the recent year, the buildings only plumbing was in the fellowship hall located behind the church. If driving through Glide, this building is a must see.
Many sights and Christmas decorations in Glide were made even more beautiful surrounded by the cold white covering. Many are hoping to see the snow stick around for Christmas.
