Stolen Car + Speed and Ice = Crash

A stolen vehicle from the Winston area crashed today due to high speed and icy conditions. The vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed from Winston heading west towards I-5 when he attempted to pass a slower moving vehicle. The car hit some ice and spun out of control, flipping as it left the highway and came to rest below the roadway. The thief was observed fleeing from the vehicle just seconds after the accident on foot.

That guy crashed right behind me while I was on my way to the dump. I'm sorry to the family's affected by the idiocy of that guy. I will say though I'm glad no one got hurt, its just to bad that lesson will only be learned by the owner of the car!

The driver was last seen walking between two homes on Melody lane in Green. He went left as we turned off the roadway to go between the homes, just barely up Melody. He passed us before the Bridge coming from Winston, probably 90 miles per hour.
