High Waters At Colliding Rivers

Raging Waters Flood The River Banks

With the mountain snows melting and the heavy rains that have pounded Douglas County the past few days, rivers are high and still seem to be rising. A lot of logs and debris can be seen being swept rapidly down the river which could cause hazards to boaters crazy enough to brave the rushing waters. Spectators, hikers and the like should be extra cautious when wondering near the rivers as river banks (in my opinion) could be unstable and give way as well as trees that are being pounded by rising waters.
