Not knowing who Jonatha Brook was, I youtubed and myspaced her. I was shocked to learn she'd been on The David Letterman Show as well as ESPN2. After listening I was drawn to her easy listening songs and folky beat. Her style and sound of her voice was reminiscent of Sarah McLachlan. I was so excited to see her play. So with friends, blankets, and lawn games in tow; we headed to Stewart Park. We were having such a good time, until the announcement came that there was a bomb threat. Kudos to the spokeperson making the announcement, he kept his words clear and calm. The audience filed out of the park orderly and calmly. Fortunately, it did not become a tragic event. However, it was very disappointing to have to leave a fun-filled evening at the park listening to a fantastic artist. Thank you to Jonatha for coming!
