On Feb. 14th, 2007 I married my dream girl. Sure; I'm 64 and she is 55 but at the time we felt like two kids because we were doing what we felt God wanted us to do. Shortly after notifying the Social Security Department of the marriage we were told that "Since we got married" I would lose almost $500.00 in benifits that I was receiving. If we got an "Annulment" and went back to "Just Living together" everything would remain the same. My wife and I feel that our eternal soul is worth more that a few dollars. We refuse to compromise our lives any more in order to appease governmental regulations that control more peoples lives that they can imagine.
Thank you for letting me get this rant out of my system. And; God will bless the U.S.A.

The system in place for our elders is sickening. Our government should be ashamed of themselves for this kind of nonsense.
