What do all of these have in common? They could be a part of YouNewsTV™ and your video or photo may be featured on kpic.com and possibly even used on-air!

Complete the simple registration process, and upload breaking news, weather, or other content directly to the station.

The purpose of YouNewsTV™ is to serve as a place for you to upload and share news videos and photos from your life. We moderate all submissions according to our Terms of Use, so please read them. Keep in mind that we may put your submission on the news, so only submit things that are appropriate for broadcast television.

Instructions for Uploading a Video:

Step 1: Pick a category, Fill in the Title (required), Summary, Keywords and Body. The summary should be a short description of your content. The keywords are words that people might use to find your submission, and the body is a longer description of the scenario in the photo or video.

Step 2: If you are submitting a video, click on “Select Your Video.” Browse for it and attach it in the popup window. You may also submit a photo to go with your video.

If you are submitting a photo, click on the “Browse” button under IMAGE. Find a picture stored on your computer and open it. Fill in the Image Caption field with a very short description (optional).

Step 3: The disclaimer reminding you to read the Terms of Use will appear for every submission. Click submit.

What are the technical restrictions for video submission?
There’s a 30 megabyte upload limit. Allowed video types are mov, avi, mpg, mpeg, wmv, mp4.

How long does it take for my submission to show up?
Once your submission is reviewed by YouNewsTV™ moderators (no violent, obscene, graphic or copyrighted material please), it will be posted to the Web site. It may take up to several hours for your video or photo to appear, so please check back.

What happens if my submission isn’t approved?
You will receive an email if your submission failed to upload or was not cleared for posting.

What does it mean to “flag” something on YouNews?
Even if the administrator approves your photo or video, other users on YouNews may flag it for questionable content. If we remove your video or photo after reviewing it, you can assume that we removed it purposefully in accordance with our Terms of Use.

How does a YouNews submission get on TV?
KPIC staff members will be monitoring YouNewsTV™ closely and may use some of the best clips during TV newscasts! Be sure to provide your email address so that we can contact you for additional details about your video or image.

What is prohibited in YouNews submissions?
- No copyrighted material, including copyrighted music or pro sports footage.
- No pornography, sexually explicit content, nudity or profanity
- No depictions of dangerous or illegal acts (i.e. animal abuse, drug abuse)
- No hate speech which contains slurs or the malicious use of stereotypes

I was pulled from a car,and beaten unconcious by compton sheriffs deputies (sarti), (fender), and (jerzykowski) after (sunagawa)gave the go-ahead for denying them consent to seach the car. seeking an aggressive attorney in this proffession.
