According to the Camp hosts at Susan Creek Campsite the Blaze was started when someone shot out a transformer on a powerline along the road. This cut out their power, and started the fire which streached about 25-35ft right along the mountain side of the roadway. A Fire truck, a Utility truck and several police responded and traffic was reduced to one lane while the fire was contained. Drivers during this hour could feel the intense heat in their cars while passing the area.
