I was startled to see an entire family of wild turkeys in my yard early this morning. Even my cat didn't know what to think. Nine juveniles and two adults made their way from the front to the back while I tried to get a decent photo from inside the house (sun was just starting to stream into the yard) before they all flew up to the rooftop of the neighbor's garage.
All-in-all, they were here for about 10 minutes. They can fly pretty well for short distances.
